What Remains When Chaos Fades
The truth within us does not need to fight for attention. It waits quietly until pride, anger, and distraction fall away.
No matter how much of a fighter you are, or how much strength you carry, you cannot fight the truth.
That beast is dangerous, yet strangely kind to your soul.
I do not mean the truth I tell you, because that may be only my opinion, my perception, or my version of events. I mean the truth that stares at you from within—the one that has always been there.
You may fight it. You may close your eyes to it. You may bury it beneath noise, anger, pride, and distraction. Still, it remains, staring back at you.
It will not fight you. It does not need to.
It simply stands there like a century-old tree, unmoved by every storm around it.
Truth is what remains when the chaos finally fades and all that is left is what you can see within yourself.
